This calendar of events is an indication of the wonderful events that guests can enjoy whilst staying with us here at the manor. Plumber Manor hotel is conveniently near all these events which add an extra and pleasurable dimension to stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Dorset.
1st – 5th September 2010: Great Dorset Steam Fair, near Blandford ForumThe most glorious, traditional English fair in the heart of Dorset. Over 200,000 people make the annual pilgrimage to the Great Dorset Steam Fair to soak up the nostalgia, to enjoy the music festival, and all the other amazing activities for all ages.
4th - 5th September 2010: Dorset County Show, near Dorchester
The largest two day show in the South West, the Dorset County Show is the wonderfully entertaining show for all the family. There are over 450 stands, a main ring with loads of attractions, animals galore, excellent food and mischievous local brews.
10th – 12th September 2010: End of the Road Festival at the Larmer Tree Gardens near Shaftesbury
There are over 80 bands performing on four stages at the End of the Road Festival as well as a comedy stage, a cinema tent, a workshop green with some amazing workshops for kids and adults, great food, e.g. Santa Fe Mexican, Caribbean BBQ, Bath Pig Chorizo, a healing area, the Somerset Cider Bus and so much more.
