We would like to thank the entire Team at Plumber Manor for all their hard work to make our Ruby Wedding celebration dinner last weekend such a wonderful and memorable occasion. Our very special thanks go to Wendy for her assistance with the planning and the set up – the table looked beautiful! – and to MJ and Jane for all their hard work on the night. The service was absolutely impeccable!
Living locally and being regular visitors to Plumber Manor over the years we have always enjoyed consistently great food there and the catering for a large group of sixteen last weekend was no exception. The chef is outstanding and all our guests remarked on the exceptionally high quality of the meal.
Several of our guests took advantage of the hotel’s accommodation and were full of praise for the standard of the rooms and for the warmth and helpfulness of the staff.
Our entire evening was a tremendous success – it could not have gone better – and we very much felt that we and all of our guests were being looked after more as a family friend than a client.

We just wanted to say a big thank you for the large family celebratory meal we had with you on the evening of Sunday 3rd June. The private dining room was lovely and it was helpful to be able to decorate it beforehand.
The whole staff were extremely friendly, courteous and professional and the level of service was impressive. All of our guests commented on the terrific quality of the food, and really enjoyed their meal. We had guests from eight years of age to eighty eight and you managed to please them all! The dishes came out together and were beautifully presented as well as being delicious.
We really enjoyed the excellent cooking of first class ingredients without the silly notions that some restaurants favour currently.
We had a wonderful evening and really appreciated the warmth of welcome. Your hotel is beautiful and many guests took away brochures, with a view to returning!
